Microsoft’s newest operating system, Windows 8, released back in October 26, 2012, has not been as popular as Microsoft could have wished for. In October 2013 the free upgrade (Windows 8.1) to Windows 8 will arrive to try and fix some of the issues and criticism of Windows 8.
