Review of Marshall Major III headset

This is my very own review of the Marshall Major III Bluetooth headset I got for Christmas.

Review of Marshall Major III headset

After I bought my new smartphone I now longer have the possibility to connect a headset using a jack stick. That is why I needed a Bluetooth headset and the name of my new headset is: Marshall Major III.

First impression of Marshall Major III

My first impression of this headset is that it feels and sounds very good. It is a light headset (only 178g), great for traveling that I at times do a lot. It can easily be controlled using the golden metal joystick on the left earcup. Bluetooth parring was very simple and bluetooth range seems to be pretty strong as far as I have tested. The earcups snap nice and strong to the ears without covering the ear completely as some headset I have been using in the past. You can also easily adjust the headset to fit your own head. For now, I must admit that the battery seems to last very long. I think the 30 hours battery time on a single full charging might be right. Only time will show how long the battery will keep on delivering that kind of hours.

Controlling the headset

Controlling music or podcast on the headset is very easy using the golden joystick on the left earcup. Read how, below the picture

Control the headset using the golden metal joystick

  • Press Up and Down to adjust volume.
  • Tilt it left and right will switch music number.
  • Single click will pause.
  • Double click will start Google Assistant or Siri.

Pairing headset with Bluetooth

  1. Make sure that your headset is turned on.
  2. Push and hold the Control Knob until the LED blinks blue (about 6-7 seconds)
  3. Go to Bluetooth on your phone and add/search for new devices
  4. Select Major III BLUETOOTH from the list
  5. Confirm Pairing and your are good to go.

Unboxing Headset

There is nothing like unboxing new electronic 🙂 Unboxing this brand-new headset was no exception. It comes in a nice box where everything is in place and have been thought about. The headset itself feels good in the hands and is very compact compared to other headset on the market. It comes with a user manual, a USB charging cable and a 3.5 mm jack cable with microphone and remote control. See pictures below.

Final words

My overall impression of this headset is, that it is a great quality headset that feels and looks just like that. It is easy to use and deliver great battery time. If you need a new bluetooth headset I can for sure recommend Marshall Major III.
