Review of Samsung 55″ QE55Q67T Smart TV

When we got the key to our new house back in May 2020, we treated ourselves with a nice, new Smart TV from Samsung and now it is time for a review.

Review of Samsung 55″ QE55Q67T TV

Our new 55″ QLED 4K TV from Samsung first of all have an incredible picture and amazing colors. It looks sharp and steady. The TV itself has a nice silver/black design that would look great in most homes. The edge is thin and looks very modern and the TV can be installed on the stand our you could hang it on a wall of you prefer that. This is the first QLED TV I have ever owned and I must admit that the colors are amazing.

Design and Remote control

The design is, in my opinion, very nice and smooth. The edge around the screen is very thin and the TV looks great both when it is on and turned off. The remote control is in silver and very light but still feels very solid in your hand. I could however have used more buttons for advanced control of the TV. Instead Samsung have decided to reserve tree button for Netflix, Prime Video and Rakuten streaming. I wonder if these buttons have been sponsored by these tree companies.

It took me a little while to get familiar with the volume buttons on the remote, but now it seems like a very natural way to turn volume up, down or mute the TV.

Overall verdict of the TV

My overall verdict of this great TV from Samsung, is that the design is very smooth and modern. The picture quality is sharp and the colors are fantastic. A great QLED 4K TV that just deliver everything you want from a smart TV in 2020. I could have used a more advanced remote control, but other than that, I don’t have much to complain about. I can even control our new TV with my smartphone using the Samsung SmartThings App or via Bixby intelligent assistant where I can use voice command to control the TV.
